Our HistoryWe are a family run jeweler since 1944. Founded by Jewel and Eva Spencer after mentoring under two New England jewelers that moved south in 1923. Three generations later, we still have the same philosophy of reputation built on honesty, trust, and high ethical standards that were started over sixty years ago. We will never forget you have a choice as to where to buy jewelry. We stay receptive to our market and listen to our customers' requests and opinions. As a hometown jeweler we think of our customers as our friends and neighbors and try to get to know them on a personal level. We now have customers that are third generation. Ethical Standards One of many important ethical standards we adhere to is "Truth in Pricing"; we don't use exaggerated markups to then run deep discounts to make it appear as inflated-savings to the customer. Please remember, "when a price appears too good to be true, it usually is." We do have occasional sales with real discounts and true savings but never inflated markups first. )
